Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the HireForge platform. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have authority to bind the organization you represent. The platform is not intended for consumer use; it is built for businesses and their authorized representatives.

2. Your account

• You’re responsible for keeping your credentials secure. MFA is required and we recommend hardware-key (WebAuthn) or authenticator-app (TOTP) factors over SMS.
• You’re responsible for all activity under your account, including the actions agents take on your behalf.
• One person, one account. Sharing credentials is prohibited; add team members through the organization billing tier.

3. The service

HireForge provides AI-powered agents that act on your behalf using credentials and context you provide. You are responsible for:

• The accuracy and legality of data you upload or grant access to.
• Reviewing agent outputs before deploying them externally (e.g., before sending email, posting content, or executing transactions).
• Configuring rate limits and budget caps appropriate to your usage.
• Ensuring agents have only the permissions they need (principle of least privilege).

4. Acceptable use

You may not use HireForge to:

• Generate content that violates the law (defamation, copyright infringement, fraud, harassment).
• Impersonate any person or organization.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer the agent prompts or extract our proprietary training data.
• Probe, scan, or test platform infrastructure without explicit written permission (legitimate security research is welcome — coordinate via /security).
• Run agents on behalf of children under 13, or otherwise process children’s personal data.
• Compete directly with HireForge by reselling agent outputs as a packaged AI product.

5. Pricing and billing

• The base subscription and per-agent pricing on our pricing page apply unless your account has a custom enterprise agreement.
• Subscriptions auto-renew monthly or annually based on your selection. You can cancel from the dashboard at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are issued at our discretion, generally for billing errors or service unavailability beyond reasonable thresholds.
• White-glove engagements have separate written agreements.

6. Intellectual property

HireForge owns the platform, agent prompts, eval harness, and related infrastructure. You own the operational data you provide and the agent outputs produced for your account. We grant you a limited license to use the platform; you grant us a limited license to process your data solely to deliver the service.

7. Service availability

We target 99.5% monthly availability for self-serve customers and 99.9% for white-glove customers under SLA. Scheduled maintenance is announced at least 24 hours in advance. Real-time status: security and status.

8. Termination

You can terminate your account at any time. We can terminate or suspend access for material breach of these Terms, including non-payment, security violations, or acceptable-use violations. On termination, your data is exportable for 30 days, then deleted.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HireForge’s total liability under these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption. Some jurisdictions don’t allow these limits — they apply to the maximum extent permitted in your jurisdiction.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is.” AI agent outputs may occasionally be inaccurate; you are responsible for review before external deployment. We make no warranty that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. Disputes will be resolved in the state and federal courts of Delaware. White-glove engagements may have different governing law specified in their separate agreement.

12. Changes

Material changes to these Terms will be announced 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
